The Immunology of Diabetes Society (IDS) is dedicated to improving our understanding of the pathogenesis and treatment of type 1 diabetes. We invite you to the 18th IDS Congress which will be an in-person meeting in Nashville, TN, USA, on October 29th - November 1st, 2021.

At the Congress, scientists will present the latest research related to the immunology of type 1 diabetes. The meeting will also be a platform for discussions on rapidly evolving topics and will provide opportunity to interact with scientific colleagues. Watch the video to learn more about the meeting and Nashville. The meeting and hotel rooms will be in the same location in dynamic downtown Nashville. We are working closely with public health officials and Infectious Disease experts at Vanderbilt University Medical to ensure that the IDS meeting will be safe and conducted in accordance with scientific evidence about gatherings.

How to Register

  1. Complete and Submit the Registration Form

  2. The registration form can be found here. You will receive a confirmation email with registration fee payment instructions and a hotel direct booking link. Registration will close on October 1, 2021.

  3. Submit registration fee payment
  4. Your registration is not considered complete until fees are paid. Registration fees are managed through Eventbrite. You will be redirected to the payment link upon completion of the registration form. The payment link and instructions will also be included in the registration confirmation email. Submit payment before September 1st to receive the early registration rate.

  5. Reserve Hotel Accommodations
  6. The meeting will be held at the Renaissance Hotel and conference center in downtown Nashville. The lowest rate has been negotiated to accommodate attendees for the duration of the event. A direct booking link with further details will be included in the registration confirmation email. In order to receive the low rate, you must make your reservation by October 5th through the direct booking link provided.
